Be funny. That's the only way. And no, it's not funny to be self deprecating. Why would you come into my DMs complaining about your day and calling yourself broke and think things are going to end well for you? If you can't be funny and you aren't hot, don't take the risk.

What can an ugly king do to get your attention?
When I give an ugly guy a chance, it's because he makes me laugh and is confident. People don't put enough emphasis on how much this can accomplish. I will never ever reply to a DM that starts with "I'm sure you hear this all of the time, but..." or "I doubt you'll see/respond to this, but...". Small Dick Energy. Don't be that guy.
